I'm a local girl. Born and raised in Lafayette. I went to college at the University of South Florida in Tampa where I met Josh, my southern gentleman. We got married and I dragged him up here to the Arctic (as he calls it). We've been here ever since. We have three beautiful, energetic, fun children - Cash, Oakley & Sunday. They are my everything. I knew long ago I wanted to be two things - a mother and a photographer. And here I am. Neither role do I take lightly.
I'm just like so many other basic girls you know. But because people love the simple stuff here ya go: I love black coffee and chocolate chip cookies - especially together. I love Springtime, the Goo Goo Dolls, a pedicure, fresh flowers on the counter, a clean space, a dramatic reality TV show, a crime junkie podcast, Taylor Swift, chocolate, a good suntan. The beach is my happy place. A part of my heart is always in Florida. And we hope to call it home again someday. I want to see the world and I want the same thing for my kids. I think the two best things you can spend your money on is photos and traveling.
I know Jesus is real. I know He died for me. I know my home is in Heaven. I know I'm forgiven & loved. And so, I try to live for Him.
